O’Bryan Resigns Top BDC/IDA Post
Brendan O’Bryan, the BDC/IDA’s Executive Director since the fall of 2023, has resigned his position to pursue other opportunities.
Board chairman Mike McMahon said Garry VanGorder, who served as the agencies’ executive director from 2009 until his retirement in 2023, will return in an interim capacity to manage operations, assist with the search for a new director and guide the transition to new leadership.
The BDC and the IDA are Cortland County’s leading economic development organizations, working to assist small businesses and managing incentive programs to retain and attract jobs for the community.
